Now what we have here is an absolute piece of jewelry on 4 wheels. This 1964 Pontiac GTO is in spectacular condition and performs flawlessly. This is a highly documented GTO with PHS documentation, full restoration documentation, original build sheet, and documentation of previous owners. The car was built 4/4/64 in Kansas City, MS and sold new in Montana. The 2nd owner then took it to Calgary, AB, CA, the 3rd to Lethbridge, AB, CA in 1987, the 4th to Elginburg, ON, CA in 1990, and the 5th and current owner purchased it in 1993 and brought it home to Grosse Point, MI.

The car received a very thorough, high quality, and high dollar complete restoration in 1992 by John's Auto and Limestone Auto Body in Kingston, ON, CA using NOS parts, original parts, and reproduction parts. It has since been maintained by R&A Engineering in Manchester, MI with pages upon pages upon pages of documentation and history. This documentation also verifies the mileage to be original at just over 58,500. It is finished in its original 214 Black interior and code “V” Grenadier Red paint and it is the 5,572nd car produced in '64.

It originally started life as a 389ci single carb but was turned into a Tri-Power in the early 90's with the correct set up. It also displays as a Royal Bobcat replica complete with Hurst wheels. Per the build sheet, this highly optioned goat came with the following option codes: 382 (GTO option), 393 (pushbutton AM radio and electric antenna), 401 (separa-phonic rear speaker), 404 (underhood lamp), 421 (windshield washer with dual speed wipers), 422 (tail pipe extensions), 442 (non-glare inside mirror), 452 (tachometer), 471 (reverse lights), 482 (glove compartment light) 484 (dome light), 492 (ashtray), 501 (power steering), 502 (power brakes), 521 (custom hub caps with spinners), 524 (custom sports steering wheel), 531 (soft ray glass), 562 (bucket seats), 572 (spare tire and cover), 602 (outside mirrors), 624 (retractable seat belts), 631 (matching front floor mats), 632 (matching rear floor mats), and 701 (safe t-track differential) all totaling over $1,300 in options pushing the total MSRP over $3,900. Other options include a Muncie M-20 4-speed manual with Hurst shifter, GM 10-bolt with 3.55 gear that came standard with option code 701.

The car also comes with the original sales brochure, chassis manual, and owner's manual, as well as the original single carb manifold, hub caps with spinners, binders full of documentation, and boxes of extra parts. This is the 50th Anniversary year of the legendary GTO and is credited with starting the muscle car craze. It was also the popular vote winner for Best in Show in the 1992 GTO Nationals. Don't miss your chance to purchase this fully documented and meticulously maintained '64 GTO! Make it yours today.
