1960 MG

It is our pleasure to present this pristine British beauty. This 1960 MGA Deluxe Roadster is a rare and desirable piece, worthy of any enthusiast and/or collector. This is believed to be a factory spec Competition Suspension setup, which was a Twin Cam body with the more dependable Pushrod engine. Everything is period correct with lots of documentation

The dual cam system was designed for racing as this car was capable of 118mph top speed. The 1588cc engine developed 108 BHPC at 6700 RPM's; however, these engines were not as forgiving as the pushrod and tended to over-rev in lower gears, causing service problems and complaints from owners. The current engine is a much more reliable MGB 1.8L 4-Cylinder. The roadster still retains the front and rear disc brakes and the correct Dunlop Center Lock road wheels.

This car has solely been used for car shows and has won every show it attended. You will be hard pressed to find another one in this condition, especially one that runs so well. This is a fantastic little British sports car with breathtaking lines – a great opportunity and investment. The entire undercarriage was powder coated during restoration and the twin cam originality has been verified by John Twist, a well-known MG expert.
